A theme should not make a website, the content must!! ‘Odds’ places content and text in the center keeping it’s own details in the background. ‘Odds’ is not designed for the large cms’ but as a blogging theme. ‘Odds’ is perfect for the starting bloggers amongst us as you don’t need to worry about unexpected and annoying changes in the layout. The more experienced bloggers can play with typography a bit more. Perfect for anyone!! Did I mention it’s for free? Doesn’t this make it more perfect….!?

Technical references

Let’s not forget the technical stuff which you might be interested in:

  • ‘Odds’ is fully CSS and xHTML 1.0 transitional valid,
  • Three column design,
  • Widget ready,
  • In posts and pages, set max image width to 348px when using captions, 370px width when you are not using captions,
  • Edit the sidebar.php to adjust the author introduction, or simply remove it.
  • Don’t use more then one level of pages.

WordPress 2.7

Browsing the net shows us a lot of rumors about the upcoming WordPress v2.7 release with the re-designed back-end. It’s an “Apple’s keynote” once again. Can’t wait!
